Project Brief
Jayde Transport, a renowned Australian Freight Transport Company established in 1978, has been a powerhouse in offering a spectrum of services including interstate transport, wharf cartage, and warehousing. As part of their robust growth strategy, the need for a new head office and interstate branch emerged in 2012. The new facility located in Forrestfield was envisioned to be a comprehensive space, encapsulating a wide array of functionalities including extensive office space, a state-of-the-art mechanic’s workshop, an undercover cross dock, and substantial hardstand space.

To facilitate Jayde Transport’s ambitious expansion, Akron collaborated with a reputable Perth building company, stepping up to the challenge of creating a multifunctional hub that would stand as a testament to Jayde’s legacy and commitment to excellence. This partnership fostered the seamless integration of a 300m² modern office space, a 500m² enclosed warehouse designed for optimal logistical operations, and a specialised 250m² mechanic’s workshop dedicated to in-house vehicle maintenance.
Through Akron’s adept management and execution, the new facility now stands as a beacon of Jayde Transport’s continuing growth and relentless pursuit of excellence in the freight transport sector.
