Hillside Earthworks, established in 1985 by Nat and Debbie Fimmano, has been a formidable presence in the earthmoving industry, offering quality services to an extensive clientele including private companies, government, and local authorities. In 2012, to accommodate their escalating growth, the firm identified the need for a more expansive premises that would house the plant and equipment service division, secure storage for assets, and administrative offices.
Akron stood at the helm of realising Hillside Earthworks’ vision of a larger, state-of-the-art facility that seamlessly amalgamates functionality with a modern aesthetic. Rising to the challenge, we crafted a 30m x 16.5m x 8m building that not only addresses the logistical needs but also adds a touch of elegance with a well-designed front facade featuring a portico and office windows.
An integral part of the structure was the installation of 10-tonne crane beams, meticulously integrated to support the workshop’s crane lifting needs, facilitating smooth and efficient operations. Through our expertise, we have delivered a facility that embodies Hillside Earthworks’ ethos of quality and reliability, setting a new benchmark in its operational capabilities.
